9. Deletion Grace Period and Account Reinstatement
When you request account deletion, your request is subject to a 30-calendar-day grace period before permanent closure and irreversible anonymisation of your personal data are completed, except where the law requires us to act differently or to retain specific records.
- During the grace period: your account may be restricted or marked as pending deletion, in line with our technical and security procedures.
- Reinstatement: if you successfully authenticate (e.g. sign in) to your account before the 30-day period ends, you may cancel the deletion request and restore normal use of your account, to the extent permitted by law.
- After the grace period: we may permanently anonymise or delete personal identifiers and related profile data in accordance with our internal processes. Aggregated or de-identified information needed for lawful business or statistical purposes may be retained where permitted by applicable law.
